Great for any occasion, this dish is easy to prepare, travels well, and it is just as delicious when reheated. We prepare it for evening meals, potlucks, appetizers, keto snacks and more. Recipe scales up evenly. Increase ingredients as listed for every pound of ground beef.
- 1 Lb of Ground Beef (Thawed)
- ½ Cup Pork Panko (or you can grind your own-Add pork rinds to food processor and chop fine)
- 1 egg (optional)
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- ½ Cup Shredded Chedder Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Dried Sage
- ½ teaspoon Dried Thyme
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix beef, Pork Rind Crumbs, Egg, Spices & Shredded Cheese. Soften Cream Cheese and add to mixture. Mix well using hands or mixer. (You want all your spices and cheese mixed evenly)
- Pinch off into approximately 1oz (1.5-2 inch) balls and add to baking sheet with on parchment paper or wire rack.
- Bake on 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes until the internal temp is 165 degrees. Remove from pan and let cool. Reheat leftovers.
