Traditional whole beef pricing uses the animal’s carcass weight plus the additional processing fees which also uses the animal’s carass weight. The carcass weight is not what you get. It’s the weight before your meat is processed into cuts and will vary from animal to animal. In this case, you get what you get and you won’t know your total cost until after the beef has been taken to the processor and processed.
Each animal is different and can vary 50lbs or more from the estimate. If there is miscalculation, you could end up will less wrapped meat than estimated. That’s the chance of buying whole beef.
With our 350 Pound Guarantee, you are guaranteed 350 pounds of total wrapped meat on a whole beef and 175 pounds on a half. This is not including the additional bones and organ meats that you will also get. Your animal may yield more than 350 pounds. We can do this because we are currently processing custom beef and beef for our bundles. If for some reason your animal does not yield what we expect, we will make up the difference. If your animal yields more than expected, it’s all yours. It’s Your Beef. Therefore, you don’t have to take the risk. You know the minimum quantity of beef your will receive and your total cost up front and we take the risk on the yield.
How do we know what your animal yields? Our processor tracks everything and scans your beef as it is labeled and packed. They provide a report listing all the cuts and weights. We will use this report to check your totals and we will provide you a copy for your whole or half.

If you want to add some roasts and marinade cuts, we can do that too! If you have a specialty cut request, we can make that happen! 2. We will contact you via email to schedule a call in order go over cut sheet and processing date. Your beef will be ready late October.
3. When your beef is ready, we will contact you to schedule a pick up date at the processor or at our farm. We will also send you a payment link for the balance which is due prior to picking up your beef.

Whole beef is usually charged by hanging carcass weight. This is the weight of the total carcass minus the head, and legs before the beef has been processed into finished wrapped meat. It can be confusing a customer does not know the total charge until after the beef has been processed.
It seems to us that it would be much easier if you knew the price and what you are getting before committing. Our customers have expressed the same opinion and since we’ve been breaking the mold from the beginning with our regenerative practices, we’re continuing the pattern by simplifying the custom beef process. We charge a standard price per whole or half. You still get Your custom cut beef, but you know up front the costs and the minimum amount of beef you will receive with our 350 Pound Guarantee.
